I own this and adore it. I want it in every single color. It’s amazing.

patriotic puppies

Even your pup is ready and excited for change. Why not have him look his best on Inaguration Day?

I can personally attest to the quality of Big Doggy Bling. Edie has quite a few of her own! Pam is wonderful and donates 20% of sales to Heaven Sent Bulldog Rescue as well.

the duet

This was another Christmas present to myself. I’ve been eyeing this locket forever and finally decided to get it for myself.  It is two half heart lockets on one chain. Lovely, don’t you think?

softspoken crochet

Softspoken is one of my favorite etsy shops. I think I’ve placed like 3 orders from here now? I currently have a Window Pane Beret in Stormcloud and the Color Block Cowl in Grape Fizz. Last week, I placed an order for two more berets, this time for a Bubble Beret in Muscadine Wine and Window Pane Beret in Rust. I can’t wait to get them!

The colors are gorgeous, the quality is amazing and it’s affordable. Rachael is absolutely lovely and always accommodating!

$25 for Colorblock Cowl in Grape Fizz; $18 for Window Pane or Bubble Berets at Softspoken

loaded big boy snickers deluxe cookies

These are the best cookies ever. Seriously. They are the size of a DVD and chock full of yummy stuff – chocolate chips, walnuts and Snickers. I’ve ordered them twice and have to refrain from eating them all at once. Christina is always incredible to work with and is great with communication!

a little drop

This week I’ve decided to feature my favorite purchases from Etsy. All of these things will be items I’ve purchased unless otherwise noted.

This first one was a Christmas present to myself. I’m loving the simplicity of it.

je blog/blague

It says “je blague” which means “I’m kidding/I joke” in French but the geek in me would like to point out “je blog” is bolded. I blog, get it?

This also happens to be printed on the softest shirt in the world, an American Apparel track tee in Indigo. Trust me, it’s the softest ever, I have like 4 of AA ones in grey and a cardigan.

Also, Abby also is another South Chicago girl! Hi Abby!

lovely shop: made by hank

I’ve had Made by Hank bookmarked for the longest time. It was seeing a friend’s blog post that gave me that little push I needed to finally make my purchase. I seen how happy she was with her purchase so I knew I had to get my own!

In browsing, Made by Hank’s sold items I found the perfect bag. Katie was fantastic and set up a custom listing for me and said it would be ready in a week. A week later there it was along with a roundy bottom zip purse. She sent out my package on a Thursday and arrived Saturday.

Unfortunately, my camera decided to die today so I don’t have photos of the lovely packaging. It was wrapped up perfectly and with a little something extra. I love it when sellers take the time to add little touches with packaging, it’s makes your purchase so much better. My tough ruffles purse is sturdy and the quality is amazing. The ruffles and texture make it stylish and chic. I couldn’t be happier!

You can be sure I’ll be buying from Made by Hank again soon. It’s definitely one of my favorite shops on etsy.

lovely shops: jmanigrossi

My spoiled rotten corgi pup, Edie, has one of these tags. It’s made out of copper and engraved with her name, my number and a heart.

lovely shop: oh, hello friend

A few weeks ago, I won a giveaway at one of my favorite blogs, Purple Pink and Orange. The prize was from etsy shop, Oh, Hello Friend. Danni is a total sweetheart. She has an amazing shop and the packaging was so pretty, I didn’t want to ruin it by opening it! She has an eye for detail and it made my win so much better.

Great packaging is definitely something that keeps me coming back to etsy shops. It’s little details like this, that make buying handmade so much better. You definitely won’t see packaging like this at your local department store or mall!

Included in my package, I received this necklace, these earrings and some stickers/tags.

Definitely check out Oh, Hello Friend’s etsy shop. You won’t be disappointed! While you’re at it, take a look at Danni’s blog.

Oh, Hello Friend gets the Oh How Lovely stamp of approval!
