etsy adore: little lovelies

This week’s Etsy Adore feature is from another blog friend of mine, Mrs. Priss.  Her shop is still really new but is full of adorable accessories. Check out what Morgan has to say about Little Lovelies!

Introduce yourself.
My name is Morgan Gable and I’m your typical, happily married 23-year-old with just a tad too much time on her hands. I have a normal office job, dye my own hair, get excited over clearance aisles & have a serious caffeine addiction.

I run a blog called Mrs. Priss, which is devoted to my girlish whims and my life as a wife & new mom. I recently opened up an Etsy shop called Little Lovelies, where I sell hair accessories.

Tell us a little about how Little Lovelies got started.
When I found out I was pregnant with a girl, I vowed I would never let her leave the house without a big, ridiculous bow on her head. I went out one day, bought a bunch of ribbon and pretty much taught myself how to make hair bows right there.

I started making bows for my little cousins, friend’s babies, and even for some of my friends to wear. Someone told me I should start up an Etsy shop for hair accessories and I did!
What has been the best part about opening your own Etsy shop so far?
I just can’t get over the fact that people are willing to pay for something I made! It’s an incredibly flattering, rewarding feeling. And it gives me a little extra spending money… can’t forget that. :)
What is your favorite item in your shop?
Without a doubt, the White Poppy clip/brooch. All the women in my family have one… I have no idea whether they like them or not, I just keep making them and giving them as gifts, haha.

Name three of your favorite etsy shops.
Joom (joom.etsy.com), sells amazing pillows and prints. They use such cute fabric!

Shabby Vintage Mom (shabbyvintagemom.etsy.com) has the most awesome home decor for sale in her shop. I neeed one of her chalkboards for my kitchen. NEED.

Stinkin’ Cute Designs (stinkincutedesigns.etsy.com), which is owned by my cousin Shea. She embroiders the most adorable baby things in all of humanity. Oh yeah, and I miiiiight be the one responsible for making the bows for her popular bow tees. Shameless plug. :)

Morgan will be giving one of you fabulous reader’s your choice of any item in her shop!
