This next shop is one of my absolute favorites. I love the shop and the girl behind the shop! She’s an absolutely lovely friend (who also blogs) and I’m thrilled she agreed to do a giveaway for my readers! So welcome, Oh Hello Friend!
Tell us a little about you and your shop.
My name is danni, I’m 23 years young. I love pretty things, design, the rain, lip balm, and scarves. I studied graphic design and have been wanting to start a shop for a long time now! So in my tiny craft room in orange county california, oh, hello friend was created. The shop features crafty unique necklaces, rings, earrings, & paper goods. It is so much fun and I feel so fortunate to be able to do something I
enjoy and love.
How did you get into jewelry making and design?
I kind of just fell into it…both jewelry and graphic design! I originally wanted to create other things when I started my etsy shop but when I started listing things, it all ended up being jewelry! But who doesn’t love jewelry? Anyway, with design, I really had no idea what I wanted to major in and my mom suggested we try art school. ha! me? art school? but I really loved it and am so glad she told me to try it.
When I’m not creating, I’m usually hanging out with my boyfriend, watching house.
Or at border’s drinking hot chocolate reading a good book. I also love blogging and usually can spend hours surfing the web for inspirations and lovely things.I think my favorite item in the shop right now is “summer in the rain” (http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=17941576) Just because it is truly a unique piece… The vintage bead I actually found when I visited vietnam so it’s pretty unique and it combines 2 of my favorite elements, wood + filigree. I love cut out charm things!
