Tell us a little about you and your shop?
My name is Vatsla. I am 29 years old. I am an aspiring artist. I like making things with my hands. I would one day love to design clothes and own a boutique. I enjoy art.
I very casually prayed one day that I would find a hobby that would double up as a business. A few days later, I found myself obsessed with home decor fabrics and I started thinking about all aspects of having an online store. Next thing I know, I had a business plan and Pillow Talk Boutique was born.
How did you first get into sewing?
I started making clothes for my dolls when I was 5. I started using a sewing machine then and have always liked creating beautiful things with fabric.
Why pillows of all things?
I believe in living in style. I think it is very important to have a space that is relaxing and pleasing to the eye, given our fast paced lives. The reason I like pillows is that you can change the look of a room by simply changing the pillows and some accent accessories, without having to change the colors of the walls, or doing major remodeling. Pillows offer an instant makeover and you can easily adjust the look of your space to match the season, or for the holidays or a special occasion.
What is your favorite item in your shop?
Definitely this beautiful velvet embrossed pillow lined with satin. I found this gorgeous fabric in the upholstery section at a local fabric store. I love the fact that it is not only beautiful, but durable and luxurious at the same time. It feels good to the touch and the pairing of velvet and satin is just exotic!

Wow LOVE!!! I think this is the best giveaway yet. for 3 reasons.
1. I am a home-decor fiend
2. I LOVE pillows, am wanting some new ones but totally not liking what I’ve found.
3. Pillows and/or covers are like $40 in Australia. WAY outta my budget.
