the slanket

A few months back I wrote about the Slanket on my personal blog. You can find my post here. Now that I got my hands on one, I figured the right thing to do would be to write a review about the awesomeness that is the Slanket. I really do think it’s the greatest invention ever like my previous post was titled.

Like I said in my post, I’m cold all the time. ALL THE TIME. Really, I’m always layered up and can be found under blankets. The layers also make me look about 10 pounds heavier*. Anyway, now instead of instead of a tank, a long sleeve and a hoodie then my blanket on top of it, I use my Slanket. Why? Because now I don’t have the stupid opening when I’m wrapped up in my blanket that it just doesn’t cover because I’m using my hands.

My blanket has sleeves** so I can continue to stay warm and cozy typing away, reading blogs or gchatting with you lovely people all while under my blanket. I also take my Slanket to the couch to watch tv or read books and lately, instead of using another blanket in bed, I just use it instead.

The details: it’s made of 100% Polyester Microfiber (basically, that it is super, super soft) and it is 60″ x 96″ and has over sized sleeves, it doesn’t pill and is machine washable! It comes in 10 different colors and there are even kids’ sizes available!

The only thing I’m not a fan of is that it catches dog hair so easily. My Edie loves to cuddle up in bed or on the couch with me so I feel like I wash it often. I really don’t mind though because the good definitely outweighs the bad!

(Slanket in action! Can you tell I’m smiling with my eyes? Tyra taught me well!)

Seriously though, the Slanket is awesome. If you’re like me and always cold or know someone who is, this is the thing for you. It seems kind of silly at first but trust me, you won’t know how you lived without it before!

* Yeah, I’m blaming it on the layers! Shut your face.
** duh, blanket + sleeves = Slanket

reviews

It was about that time to start a review blog!

I’ll always give an honest review no matter what it is for. There will be no gushing about how much I love a product because I’m told or expected to. If I don’t like something, I’ll tell it how it is.

I’m pretty real on my regular blog so expect no less for this one.

You get the picture.
