Best girls night in- ordering pizza from the best place in town, some drinks, girly movies, doing facials and lots of picture taking!

I typically celebrate a girls’ night in with a DVD box set (30 Rock, The Office, Mad Men, etc) or with the latest movie rental.

For eats, it’s usually something chocolatey and/or salty. Some kettle popcorn (so yum) or chocolate chip cookies or cupcakes of some sort.

These smartfood snacks sound really good…I will have to keep my eye out for them the next time I go to Target!

I just had Smart Food Chocolate Cookie Caramel Pecan for a snack!! So good! I saw the commercials for it and bought it the grocery store yesterday and was very satisfied. When I celebrate a girls night in, it involves a bottle (or few) of vino, a good chick flick or t.v. show and some of my best girls friends. Instead of going out, we recently started taking turn doing potlucks at each other’s houses.

I’d celebrate a girls’ night in by doing at-home pedicures, watching girly movies, and camping out in the living room.

Girls night in consists of chick flicks and ice cream! I think I will incorporate SmartFood snacks next time. Thanks for the review!

We actually have a name for Girls Night In, it’s called ‘Mudslide Fridays’. We usually get in our PJ’s and drink mudslides all night long while overdosing on TLC’s What Not to Wear (or some other show like it). It’s the best time EVER.

Ladies’ night in means movies, popcorn, tasty beverages and hilarious friends.

A group of my girlfriends and I call ourselves the Southern Sistahs. We have girls night in at least once a month. We’ve done movie nights, salad suppers, game nights and just hanging out. Everyone brings food and the hostess provides the beverages and idea. There are 15 of us and we really do love each other like sisters!

We celebrate girls’ night in with games, snacks, and generally just let things happen as they will (there’s usually very little advance planning). But sometimes we’ll get together to bake, which is an adventure with a crowd in the kitchen, and even more so when we have to make enough for everyone!
I can’t wait to find a new group of “girls” when I move next month, although I’m sure in my new hometown of Hershey, chocolate will play a large role in “girls’ nights”!

Kids at home tucked in, chick flicks that the husband won’t watch, and lots of treats I wouldn’t normally eat!

GNI is often sharing great apps and great stories, drinking and yakking, laughing and munching. Then somebody wants cookies or brownies, so the party moves to the kitchen and we start over again with hot cookies from the oven.

How about a good chick flick and some yummy snacks? Or ditch the movie and just have the snacks! Can you tell I love snacks?

Girls’ night in is best celebrated with plenty of Three Buck Chuck, greasy (read: delicious) junk food, and Judd Apatow movies so we can ogle our favourite movie men OR girly movies so we can gripe about how our lives are or are not like that. Also lots of silly photo ops, talking about doing awesome things that we can’t ever do, and making plans for when we win the lottery. It all ends with laughter. *nods*

Usually, my friends and I celebrate a girls night in by having a potluck dinner and then we usually end up playing some rousing hands of Uno and gossiping. Occasionally bottles of wine are also part of this scenario.

Girls night in usually involves a dinner and a movie, followed up with fresh baked macadamia nut cookies. The usual discussion of guys and the single life is inevitably included as well!

We gather clothing and shoes we no longer wear and have a swap party! Lots of wine and food, too!

Girls night in is the only thing getting me through the week lately. I love getting a bunch of food (my girls and I can eat!) like crabs and chips and pickles and chinese food and chocolate and sour patch kids then cuddling up on the couch with her kitten and watching some SATC or Grey’s. And making drinks of course.

I have hosted a season premiere television party with the girls complete with food and beverage and my girlfriends will host jewelery/candle, etc. parties just to get everyone together (the rule is always that you don’t have to buy anything, just show up and hang out).

We just recently celebrated a Girls Night Out! We ended up going out to eat (Subway to be technical), then going for milkshakes. We drove around the city for ab it to see what was happening. To be quite honest, that was the most fun we’ve had in quite a while. It ended with the bag that held the gallon of milk breaking and sugar highs!

Best girls night in would entail making dinner for three of my best friends and watching a funny girly movie like Bridewars or maybe Sixteen Candles- one of our favorites!! With some really tasty drinks of course!!

I spend my girls nights in with a good bottle of wine and some girly movies. Pop the popcorn and grab all the blankets and pillows I can find for a fun and comfy time!

Uh…it’s all about Sex and the City! Popcorn, mr. big, and ice cream…yum.

For me, a girls’ night in consists of giving each other manicures, sipping homemade cocktails and watching a great romantic comedy like How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days!

My typical girls’ night in usually consists of yummy snacks, a movie and some good conversation. Lately we’ve been all about the fondue, which is delicious. And the last time we all got together we played Telephone Pictionary and laughed till we nearly peed our pants.

Girls night is the best thing ever! Especially now that I’m over 30 and an old, married hag. For my girl’s night, I’d eat too much and none of it would be good for me. I’d drink too much and most likely say something inappropriate that would inevitably offend someone and secure me a window-view table for one in hell. We’d talk about all our imaginary and inappropriate celebrity crushes (Hello? Robert Pattinson!), say “fuck” a lot and talk over the TV and one another so someone, anyone can be heard. Basically, girl’s night for me is much like a family get together. Good times!

Girl’s night means only one thing- an all you can eat Buffet at Ryan’s Steakhouse- Thursday is BBQ night- my favorite-desserts included!

We always like a movie and popcorn.

I never get to have a girl’s night in–boo hoo. I am a stay-at-home mom of three kids under three and I have never been away from them. Also, I live on the complete opposite side of the country from all my friends and relatives. But if I had the chance to have one, it would include movies, Trivial Pursuit, charades, junk food, make-overs, and alcohol.

Do girl’s nights in have to include other girls? Ha, but they always include RockBand, so we can feel like rock stars, pizza and Dips (wonderful ice cream bites) and a funny movie or show (think: the smartest white guys or little britain or something else we’ve never seen before). Lots of talking and a Petey, and you’ve got yourself a perfect evening!

Girls Night In includes pampering and fun. I like to host small get-togethers, and we do nails, hair, makeup, and chat and have lots of laughs. FOOD is important, everyone brings something, I always make punch.

I don’t get a girls night. The closest thing would be when my kids have a “sleepover” in my bedroom on Sunday nights.

My friends and I will just hang out at someone’s house, having brought a board game or two, food, and such. Some times, one of us has cooked/baked something to share, and we’ll just pass the time cracking each other up in various ways.

I love sitting around and watching movies with the sound turned off. My friends and I have a great time making up our own dialogue. The best part? When you don’t want to think up witty comments full or sexual innuendos, you can just turn the sound back on!

I always make blueberry or apple pie, I buy some delicious apple cider, I make fresh coffee, and we all watch a good movie or listen to quality music.

We knit and take turns playing video games. So you can chat, eat or blow something to bits. It’s a nice rounded evening.

On girls’ night in we like to catch up on blogs that feature women who are rowing oceans for good causes. Roz Savage is currently rowing the Pacific to call attention to environmental issues. Sara Outen in plying the Indian Ocean to raise funds for arthritis sufferers. These are just two of the blogs we follow. While we catch up on these adventurers we eat and drink the things they say they crave–chocolate and rum punch for example.

We bring girls night in to new heights, but then again we’ve all known each other since elementary school! First: Cocktails oy yeah, then laughter ensues, then appetizers so we can have more cocktails, then nintendo wii, more laughter, teasing, hilarity and hijinx ensues, then we talk about boys (there are so few ‘men’ to talk about), then we watch movies! (if it’s my pick, then totally a horror movie, which mean they scream, and I tell everyone to SSSSHHHH so I can hear!) then some crash on couch, and some get picked up by the hubsters because after cocktails, NO ONE gets to drive home! Betcha want an invite!!!!

We just celebrated a girls night in with a Texas Holdem party. Lots of fun and laughter.

My girls night in consisted of a girly movie (or sometimes a scary one, depending on the mood), some snacks, and of course some drinks!

I love having Girls Night In. What I do is rent a few tearjerkers or even men-bashing films (like John Tucker must Die), and have plenty of ice cream on hand and ask that all girls come comfy, in pjs preferably. Its like a slumber party for the older girls. Fun fun fun

I am always looking for a way to satisfy by cravings without going overboard! This sounds like a great solution!

My best friend lives quite a few miles away from me, so when I go visit her we always have a great girls night in – catching up on each others lives, giggling, cooking, eating and goofing off!

A funny movie and lots of treats

When my friend lived in the same town as me we would get together after the kids went to sleep have a few Smirnoff Ices, play Guitar Hero slightly tipsy and laugh out butts off. Also get on Second Life on one of our names on voice together and confuse people as to who’s voice they were hearing. LOL

Now that she has moved away we still have our nights of drinking Smirnoffs but now we have to do it over Webcam and just be plain silly all night laughing our butts off still.

No matter whose house it is at, I always bring the wine, I have a nice collection – I like to try different ones from different countries, but my favs are still the reds from California, Italy and France. My typical girls night in usually means some type of “creative” cooking my friends and we love to experiment with new foods and flavors but the kids and husbands are not always so willing so that is perfect for just the girls. Then we gossip, catch up, and enjoy the meal. Then it is time for a “chick” flick with some popcorn and something sweet that we have made earlier too.

We love to do different theme nights. We have had a pasta night, chocolate buffet, Chinese food, mexican and this month was good old fashioned American. These are fun and we get to try new things. We also love to play dominos.

We watch a good movie and have a manicure/pedicure party.

Coffee is always involved in Girl’s Night in, along with some snacks, usually popcorn and maybe (yikes!) some cookies. But this past Girl’s Night in we were good and had berries and cherries to munch on. We don’t usually watch movies but once in a while a flick like “The Princess Bride” or homemade slide shows, but usually we just chat it up!

Girls’ Night In? A good baseball game (or a movie,) a nice bottle of wine and my famous marinated London Broil and Mock-Mashed Potatoes. We usually top it off with a nice sweet – be it a hunk of Green & Black’s chocolate, ice cream or something I’ve concocted (like banana bread, carrot bread.) Y-U-M!

We either order pizza or have several types of chips and dip. We also make sure to have several desserts. We watch a movie or just hang around and talk.

We start out with margaritas and getting ready and dancing to music. Girls night used to be the usual, all dolled up and out on the town for drinks. Now, we meet Saturday mornings for Garage Sales! We have a hoot and no hangovers!

Me, my 21 year-old sister, my 10 year-old twin cousins, my 7 year-old cousin and her 5 year-old sister… with blankets and pillows on the floor, popcorn, candy, ice-cream, chocolate milk and Kool-aid on the coffee table, and a “kids” movie (my sister and I were secretly DYING to see) on onDemand.

Wine and a good movie

All I need are my girls and a good bottle of wine (or 2). Whether we’re gossiping, watching tv, or dancing, we’re always having a good time together!

A girls night in means pizza or subs with pop. We usually just huddle around and talk. There always seems to be something to talk about.

We love to watch cheesy lifetime movies together and just catch up. It’s a fun way to unwind and just enjoy each other’s company.

We celebrate girls night in by making some homemade face masks and hair conditioners and “goop up” and watch a movie with plenty of snacks

for a girls night in my sister and i watch movies or we color eachother’s hair. i like fixing her hair and making her look nice. she hardly has a chance with the kids constantly around.

Once a month, we get together for dinner at one of our houses, and talk about all of the trashy celebrity gossip we wouldn’t admit to knowing about during the rest of the month! Good food, wine, and good friends – that’s all you need!

Lots of chocolate and mushy movies. We will usually do pedicures and catch up on all the latest gossip.

We celebrate girls night by having lots of snacks and chick flicks!

Sometimes the perfect girls night in is to just curl up on the couch with a good book and something good to drink.

My friends and I like to get together at each others houses to talk and eat lots of snacks.

For the girls night in we always watch the sappiest chick flick out there, order pizza, and have ice cream with lots of toppings.. in our most comfy sweats and tshirts! No boys allowed.

we do a make your own salad and bring it home and pick up some slices from the best pizza place here in Los Angeles, Vittos in West Hollywood and we put in some DVD’s of a season of a favorate show we are trying to catch up on

Girl’s night in usually involves wine, chocolate and movies. Sometimes I choose to have my special night alone and that’s relaxing too.

I would get some chocolate for my fondue maker, and have fondue.

Girls night in (with Chubby-huggy, who is 4, and my 14 yr. old dd) includes nail painting, snacks, and watching movies (usually a dog movie, like Hotel For Dogs), snuggling on Momma’s comfy bed.

Girl’s Night for me is my sister and I rent a hotel room, go to a show at the theater, dinner and then go back to the hotel and watch a great movie while gabbing the night away.

Girls night in- frou-frou drinks, talk about chick lit, mani’s, pedi’s, facials and so much laughter we all have belly aches. Sometimes we do the chick-flick thing as well but we usually have so much fun just catching up and laughing it never happens.
Oh, and the calories NEVER count so there is always chocolate.

Cheezy movies that we’ve all seen a hundred times with the sound off so we can do our own commentary… lots of popcorn and delicious bevereages and then some home made board games like Hermy’s Magical Box of Trivia Goodness.

For our girls night in my neighbors and I gather at one of our houses in our PJs and play penny poker – I’ve even won lunch money for my kids for the week!

I like to go to the movies with friends. We don’t get to do it very often, but when we do we usually go for a quick bite to eat beforehand.

Our girls’ nights generally involve copious amounts of wine. And old episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Sometimes we substitute margaritas for wine, and movies like Repo! The Genetic Opera for the Buffy eps. Or we sit around and watch hilarious youtube videos. Last time, we made tacos together.

My girlfriends and I rent movies our husbands and boyfriends don’t want to see and make mojitos or margaritas, heavy appetizers (think spicy maryland crap dip, thai chicken skewers, roast beef and grilled asparagus rolls, etc) and super decadent chocolate desserts. Of course, there’s usually more gossiping and discussion of happenings in everyone’s personal life than there is any movie watching!

I haven’t had a girls night out in a long time! When we did have them we would get our husbands to keep the kids and we would go out to eat and either to the movies or to the mall or the book store. Just somewhere we could relax and enjoy each other and the peace and quiet!!!! We HAVE to start doing that again!

Girl’s night in for me is to invite my 4 BFF’s over and collaboratively we all prepare a festive, savory gourmet meal together. Of course I supply all the stapes items, whether it is beef, seafood, chicken, pasta, veggies, you get the idea, but all the extra ingredients and what we decide to do with those staple items will be determine by all of us, we all will take ownership in preparing a most delicious, memorable delicious meal. I have found some of the best moments and memories have come from all of us being in the kitchen together being creative, exploring our culinary talents, laughing, talking, dancing to upbeat music and cooking away! Many of the meals we have experimented in making have become our favorite recipes! To me, this is quality time spent with friends that are dear to me. Thank you for the chance to enter.

I have a great group of girls that meet at least once a quarter to do things we wouldn’t normally do. In August, we have plans to rock climb. That’s the first time we’ll be spending ‘girls’ night in’ outside! Should be fun!

We celebrate girl’s night in with ordering pizza or Chinese takeout, something sweet: cookies, cupcakes or ice cream and then we watch movies and just gab.
