My girl, Britney, looking hot and cleaning up at the VMAs! To be honest, she was the only reason I watched that shit. I’m disappointed she didn’t perform but her skit with Jonah Hill was funny and she is adorable. She’s back!

Other thoughts on the VMAs:

• after last years train wreck of a show they couldn’t get a real venue, obviously. This year it was held in someone’s garage or something. There was all of 50 people there.
• Katy Perry = FAIL. God, that bitch is annoying. ‘I Kissed A Girl’ is fucking stupid and so overrated. anyway.
• Is LL Cool J even relevant anymore?
• Demi Moore, seriously? You couldn’t get anyone else, MTV, so you brought the most random ass celebrity you could think of.
• Lil Wayne dresses like a hipster.
• The youngest Jonas Brother (Nick) has the whiniest singing voice ever
• Rhianna wants to be goth so bad
• Christina Aguilera’s performance reminded me of something Britney would do back in the day. She lip synced too, which was a bummer since we all know the girl can belt ‘em out!
• you are slutty if you don’t wear purity rings. Thanks Jordin Sparks, and you arrrrrrrrre?
• Miley Cyrus sounds like a 40 year old smoker
• Lindsay Lohan looks like her mom (that’s NOT a good thing)
• It’s Britney BITCH!
• ETA: Kanye’s new song sucked. Stick to what you do best, dude.

The election talk gets me so riled up it’s not even funny. That’s the point though, right? Get mad and make a change. Don’t complain unless your actively doing something about it. If it’s gonna take a voting themed shoot on ANTM to get kids out there and pay attention to what’s going on…GREAT. Go Tyra.

Marjorie! She is a bundle of nervous energy and is this close to start bouncing off the walls from it but I adore her. I love her look and she photographs like a dream. She also dresses ridiculously cute. Be my BFF, Marjorie!

Some of you know I use to recap Project Runway weekly. Well this season rolled around and I wasn’t really interested in recaps. I’m definitely still watching though! Inspired by a conversation with Alexa earlier today, I thought maybe since we are five episodes in, I’d post a few thoughts on some of the designers and the outfits that have stuck out in my head.

So honestly, this far the designers come to mind first are Leanne, Kenley, Keith, Suede, Blaine, Terri, Koto and Stella. My favorites are Leanne and Korto. Least favorites are….care to take a guess? Blayne-licious and Keith.

Cycle 11 of America’s Next Top Model starts September 3. Get ready to smile with your eyes.

Project Runway gets sold to Lifetime, where it will more than likely run between the most recent Movies of the Week. Bravo doesn’t cry about it. They are developing a new fashion show that might kick Project Runway’s ass.

FASHION HOUSE (working title)
“Fashion House” (wt), a creative competition program based on the British format of the same name, replicates the workings of the fashion business through a fashion house. Teams of designers will live together and work to create not just a single item of clothing but an entire, cohesive line. These collections are created on deadline and are presented to commercial buyers with the opportunity of having the designers’ line mass marketed.

If Bravo pulls this off and does it well, they will once again be the best channel in the world. The only bad part – no Tim Gunn.

The final of America’s Next Top Model cycle 10 is tonight. I thought we’d celebrate the end of this awful cycle by doing a poll. Shall we, my ANTM lovers (or haters. I know how it is!)?

We are going to keep this one quick because I’m still not all that interested in this show anymore. I just heard a rumor about last night and had to see if it was true! So their challenge is to see what it feels like to be behind the camera. They photograph Paulina and the winner gets 50 extra shots. Fatima ends up winning the challenge and the extra frames. This is the first challenge she has ever won.

For the photo shoot, they are shooting with Nigel. Kind of like 50s glam being chased by the paparazzi with their boyfriends or however they explained it. Anya (it must mean something that every time I try to type Anya, I always end up writing Anyway. hmm…) has a bit of an advantage because she has shot with Nigel before when she won the 7UP nude shot.
