The thing I don’t get right now? Guys and their priorities – and why I’m NOT one (a priority, not a guy!). Grrr.

Apart from that, I agree with a lot of those. Particularly the one about being asked for a favour by someone who treated you like crap.

I am madly in love with 3Oh3! Have you heard the song trainwreck? It’s amazing… not anywhere near as fun as the Helen Keller song, but the lyrics are great.

Lindsay and Britney together make me want to die. Bad. Bad meaning bad and NOT bad meaning good. Also in the vein of Dane Cook for me – Sarah Silverman, Sacha Baron Cohen, and (mostly) Chelsea Handler.

I’ve never heard of 3OH!3 which probably makes me sound old and not “with it.”

Also? I don’t get pistachio ice cream (ick), how Larry King is STILL on television (retire already!), the show America’s Got Talent and denim bodysuits/rompers.

Ok, so this is the first post of yours I’ve read, but I will be reading many more.

OMG what the hell Shark Week? My brothers and dad used to watch that and to my mother and me it seemed like every week was shark week. Like, what wasn’t it JUST shark week how can it be shark week again? Ah, memories.

And puppies playing in puddles then jumping on the bed? Yeah, my dogs 3 and he still does that. Bastard.

Let me just say that I love Shark Week. I miss having cable. Watching specials on Sharks every night after work for a week was AWESOME. Sharks scare the crap out of me!

and the thing I don’t get about that song is that the metaphor doesn’t make sense. helen keller did not, in fact, talk with her hips. historical inaccuracy bothers me.

Oh, 3oh!3. I completely agree with your non-understanding of the Helen Keller lyrics. The first time I heard the song, I was completely shocked, and figured I would just never listen to it. But it’s got a good beat… I just shake my head at that part every time.

To keep on the music theme, I DO NOT GET Shakira’s new song. Or Miley Cyrus as a person. Like her songs, do not like her at all.

I don’t get:
- Why girls wear Uggs in the Summer (even though it hasn’t been thaaat hot, still)
- Why there are still SO many reality shows out there! can’t we just leave the good ones and then bring back more primetime TV shows? Comedy? Drama? Whatever!
- Mosquitos. Do they really serve a purpose or are they just here to keep our “itch” mechanism from going rusty?

It makes me really sad that you don’t get Shark Week. Because it is abso-fucking-lutely amazing. But this is coming from the girl who did the science fair after it was required for school because I enjoyed it…
