It’s that time again, sports fans. Everyone is gearing up for the big weekend. Running around gathering their chips and dip, stocking up on chicken wings and most importantly, beer.

What’s the reason for this celebration?

The Puppy Bowl

While some of you will actually be watching football like it matters, the rest of us will be tuned into the adorableness that is puppies running around playing, sleeping in water bowls and being all around cute.

Cards and Steelers?

No, thanks.

Have you seen this starting line up? I can’t even handle it.

So which will you be tuning in to? Adorable fluffy puppies playing or a bunch of sweaty, fat guys crashing into one another?

Yes! The puppy bowl rocks! I only tune in for a minute though.. when I was in high school I seriously watched the whole thing.. and afterwards all I thought was WOW I just wasted that much time watching puppies run around. lol.

I had a girlfriend once that made some sort of devil-girl-deal-or-die with me to watch that in — what I think was — its first time. I love dogs, have a great 15yr old lab mix, and adore puppies. But that thing, in yr 1, almost killed me after the first two hours. I think I was affected for days afterward. Not that I will be watching the SB this year either.

Yea so I have a husband who usually watches the tv in the study but since it’s Super Bowl night he is hording the tv room remote and I refuse to use the crap tv. So no, the answer is not Puppy Bowl, even though it should be.

Not gonna lie: I didn’t watch the Puppy Bowl, but I have three of them on DVD. And I pretty much melt over them whenever I pop them into the DVD player. Puppies! So cute!

OMG I love the Puppy Bowl. Last year we had two TV on, one on top of the other, for the whole game. One was tuned to the game, the other was tuned to the puppy bowl. Can you guess which one I watched more of …?

Unfortunately, we had guests over to our apartment with only ONE TV (lame! I know …) which meant no puppy bowl this year. And I forgot to DVR it. *wails*
