puppies in coats

I’m not really one who dresses Edie up. I think a coat is necessary sometimes because it’s cold but you won’t see me dressing her up in pajamas, “Bad to the Bone” shirts and fur lined, leopard print show girl dresses like some of those other dog people. I love my dog but choose not to dress her up completely ridiculous.

When I came across this little fleece coat in the $2 Target bins I couldn’t resist. Especially because I can do this and she will sit still so I can take a picture.

While I’m not a crazy dog dresser upper to the extreme, I’m still a total gusher about her cuteness.

Because really?

How freaking adorable is she?

I’m not normally one for thinking dogs dressed up is cute, but holy moly does Edie look freaking adorable in that thing! Seeing pictures of Edie is basically the reason that I’ve decided to get a corgi when I can (finally) get a dog… whenever that will be.

I’m anti-dog clothes, but I’ve found some at old Navy that I really had to stop myself from buying, and with the cold weather we’ve had to suit our guys up.

Ash considers it a betrayal of our trust.

That is super-cute.

A coat is the only thing I will put on Lucy and only because she shakes when we go outside and it’s damp and cold.
