December 23, 2008 | ridiculous things, the boy
- Just a 20-something in Chicago trying to keep my head above water. Neurotic, over-thinking, shameless celebrity gossip addict, bad tv watching girl with expensive taste and no money but completely adorable, if I do say so myself.

You do have carpal tunnel. In fact, we all do. Carpal tunnel syndrome is when the nerve is actually compressed, which leads to pain.
It’s just like TMJ. Everyone says “I have TMJ.” Well guess what? We all have TMJ! It’s TMJ Syndrome.

Jenn McSmartyPants.

Ouch, carpal tunnel always hurts like hell.
And yes, you’d better keep that hand.

lol Very cute!
I’m going to be a huge nerd, and offer a comment in favour of safe computer use! I work in graphic design, play video games, knit, bake, and generally use my arms. Arm usage has become a problem for me – not carpal tunnel, but when I’ve been using the computer too much my hands will actually start to cramp in on themselves so they’re hard to use.
Before you are handless, you’ll look like a lobster. And I think that’s where the love decline happens lol
But there is good news! This anti-lobster hand remedy video will help! Just try not to be creeped out by the “real guy” who demonstrates. He looks like a weird cartoon Ah-Ha version of a person. Good luck!

Argh… I literally have carpal tunnel syndrome from blogging/twittering/emailing all day long. The madness has got to stop.

I still laugh with an ex-boyfriend over a conversation we once had while dating.
“Would you still love me if I were ugly?”
“How ugly?”
