So basically (since I’m obvi best friends with Britney. Just kidding, this is just my opinion, but…) she has definitely lost her spark. It’s not her choreography…she’s just not up to par anymore. It might be her just growing up and finding it really hard to keep on top of the game. There are always newer, younger, more hungry people ready to take your spot. It’s harder to be #1 and stay there than to work your way to the top. I’m saying this cause I feel like this is something I’m going through, myself, right now. Not to brag, but I was a pretty good dancer not too long ago (I even danced with some of Britney’s dancers), but all of the sudden, one day I woke up and all the competition to be the best really wore me thin. I don’t love dance any less, but my ability has taken a hit and I’ve backed away because it became something new to me…no longer a competition to be the best, no longer a way to showcase my abilities, but really a mentally freeing thing and way to express myself and relieve stress. I feel like she is going through something so similar. In my experience, I’ve lost a lot of my confidence…with Britney, you can see it CLEARLY in her face that she has lost hers, too. I doesn’t make me love her any less, I just see now that she not perfect…she’s human. She’s just growing up and experiencing new things…and I’m just glad that it seems like she back on the right path. I was so happy with “For The Record.” I think they portrayed her the best way they could…by being truthful and not trying to cover anything up. I just hope everyone has a better understanding, now, of who and why she is the way she is.

Ok, I just wrote the longest comment ever…you can tell I’m passionate about my Britney Spears.

PS…I wanna see her in concert, too! So bad.

These are my unprofessional and untrained observations of Britney:

1. She has been sad all of her life. What we are calling “normal” or “comeback” is just her pretending. You could see it in her eyes and her expressions long ago. I think she loves to sing and dance but the rest is just too much for her. Now, I think she might not even want to sing and dance but doesn’t know what else to do.

2. She can no longer dance. It started with last year’s VMAs but I just thought it was because she was medicated or something. BUt I have watched every peformance recently and she just walks around and then moves her upper body. It is like she is scared she is going to fall all the time so she doesnt dance at all. Makes me realize just how much she moved before.

I hope she finds her way.

I just listened to her new album yesterday, a couple times! I love britney, I have always been a fan and thought she is really pretty…She’s an icon! My mom even took me to see her concert in high school, we flew to vegas! haha. I felt so sad for her when she was going through all the drama.

I would agree with you that she has lost her ’spark’ – it’s sad bear for sure. but I’ll always be a fan.

anyways.. If I win the lottery, I’ll buy us britney tickets and we’ll go

I have so much love for Brit but she came on “X-Factor” over here last week and was a bit of a disappointment. Although I hate to say it. Her performance wasn’t fabulous (although better than the notorious VMA “Gimme More” performance”) but like you say, it’s like she’s lost the spark that made her so good before. Apparently she acted like a total diva too. I hate the thought of her being like that!

I watched her doc on MTV last night and thought she does look so sad and lonely. Then I felt really bad for her because she is so young and can’t even do something simple like grocery shopping without getting mobbed by photographers and fans. No wonder she lost it. Any normal person would.

I hope she can make a comeback, especially since Womanizer is just so damn catchy!

I love Britney. Boyfriend thinks its hilarious that anytime we get in the car Womanizer will play on the radio at least once in our trip. The new cd rocks though.
