No, you sicko. It’s an ice cream parlor!

I’ve passed this place a million times on my WP excursions and that Coming Soon sign has always been in the window. Well by the end of the week, it should be open. Yeah, the name is pretty suggestive but they make ice cream! You choose what kind of dairy and toppings and they make it in a mixer right there for you. With liquid nitrogen!

Ice cream.

LIQUID NITROGEN.

ICE CREAM!

I will personally be checking this place and reporting back because hi! Have you heard? Ice cream made with liquid nitrogen!

If that isn’t cool (gimmicky or not), I don’t know what is.

(sorry, dirty minded people. only ice cream here)

Yessssssss. I have been waiting ages for it to open. I don’t know how anyone can say no to ice cream let alone when there’s a nifty, science-y gimmick involved. Love!

I’m jealous

I’ve had it before! We had scientists come to our classroom and use it to make a batch for the kids. IT’S DELICIOUS!! And sort of scary to watch but awesome. Definitely makes me want to move to Chicago.

I’m extremely intrigued by this and can’t wait for your review!

See, I can’t have ice cream, but dammit! They need to make it big and open more stores around the US–especially NYC, thank you very much. I want to taste liquid nitrogen ice cream!

I’ve never heard of that before…liquid nitrogen? crazxxyyy! I was thinking that doesn’t sound healthy but i guess there is nitrogen in the air…right? it’s been a loooooong time since I took a science class…(they didnt make us art peeps take those)

Oh, I’m sure the marketers never intended the name to be interpreted in any “dirty” sort of way. That kind of thing never happens. *snicker*

Sounds very cool. I have seen them use liquid nitrogen for cooking on Top Chef, and it looked interesting. I’d love to see it prepared just for me.

We made ice cream with liquid nitrogen in HS for some reason. It was really cool.

Sophie beat me to it, but I too saw the guy on Top Chef Chicago use liquid nitrogen to make ice cream. Only he made BACON ice cream, which to me sounds super gross. This place, on the other hand, sounds like it’s in-the-gutter delicious! I’ll eagerly await a review of it.

Oh my gosh, I’m going to be the sqaure who admits I have absolutely NO IDEA why this could possibly be suggestive.

I’m wracking my brain, but am apparently just uptight and a dork.

I am a counselor at an astronomy camp every summer and it’s tradition to make liquid nitrogen ice cream. It’s very tasty and I’m sure it’s even better when it’s mixed properly with a mixer instead of by hand.

I’ll have to check that place out the next time I’m in Chicago.

I spent a long time riding the L from O’Hare looking at an ad for icream. I think I’ll try to find it while I’m in town.
