birthday recap (day 1)

I really love my boyfriend’s family. They are so good to me. I’m over there more than I am at home sometimes, they force food on me, take me on vacations (Disney World! Las Vegas!) and are just all around amazing. We got pizza from a local spot nearby and it was yummy! Boyfriend and I caught up on television, signed up for Netflix and I got presents.

From William I got a fancy smancy pink Blackberry skin for my Pearl and Enchanted. Both things, I wanted in my wish list. We are also going to get tickets for Blue Man Group, because I have never seen it and I am pretty sure that is a crime.

From his parents, I got the most adorable picture frame which will be filled with a photo of Edie and Princess, my two pups, as soon as I get some printed. I also got tickets for Kooza!

Also, I got the most ridiculous looking, brownie ice cream pie thing instead of cake from my favorite ice cream and candy shop, Gayety’s. It looks amazing and the brownie bits I swiped off the top tasted amazing! Unfortunately, we didn’t take it out in time to thaw a bit and it wouldn’t cut. As hard as it was to leave it, we are saving it for another day. Seriously, wait until you see a picture of this thing. You will want to lick your screen.

I couldn’t ask for a better birthday. I hope you all have a fabulous weekend, I know I plan on it.

Drunken debauchery?

Probably not, but definitely drinks and maybe a tiny bit of debauchery thrown in the mix.

Chris – Nothing at all. I just don’t ever drink that much to be drunkenly debaucherous. Only a little.

Tiny bits of debauchery sounds great. I’ll be doing that in Vegas this weekend too!

I can’t wait to see a picture of the brownie pie. Happy (belated) birthday! Oh, and if there’s anything I miss about having a boyfriend it’s his family. Mine ex’s mom was the best person ever and was so good to me, too.

You will love the Blue Man Group!! I’ve always wanted to go and my Mom and her husband have been twice. They say it’s amazing and the best concert they’ve been to in a long time. As for Kooza–I’ve always wanted to see them. I was at Disney World and the tickets were just an insane amount and I didn’t get to go. Enjoy your weekend. I’m so glad you are having a blast
