Edie had a good night. She decided at about 2:00 AM she was more interested in playing than sleeping, other than that, we did very well. She really likes to nip and nibble when she is playing and she has sharp little teeth. Her current favorite thing is to sit on my chest when I’m laying down and paw at my face and rub up against me. She has the softest fur ever! She likes to try to chew on EVERYTHING, from her toys, to corners of pillows, my camera when I’m shoving it in her face trying to take pictures and just right now she tried to eat the corner of my MacBook. She always sits down when she eats or she brings her food by me and goes back and forth. We are working on the potty thing. When we go outside she sits by my feet and it takes a while for her to go. When we are inside and she will go on her puppy pads which is good. I’m going to work on completely housebreaking her though.

Gretch-a-sketch asked why I named her Edie. When I seen Factory Girl awhile ago, I decided Edie would be a cute name for a puppy. Not because I’m like ‘OMG Edie Sedgewick!?@’ It just seemed cute. It completely suits her too. That is how I got my little Edie’s name.

Clueless Cat asked how big she is going to get. Edie will probably get at her biggest about 27 pounds. She’s going to be bigger than my other dogs but not huuge.

I showed the picture you posted yesterday to my boyfriend, and he agreed that Edie was cute, but said she looks like a fox. After that comment, I went to sleep and had a dream about adopting a baby skunk. I assume I had the dream because a fox and a skunk are both woodland creatures? Anyway, she is adorable.

Ahh! Look at the little pink insides of the ears! Too. Much. Cuteness.

Ohh she has a loofa dog. My friend’s chihuahuas have one and they carry it around even though it is longer then they are. It’s hysterical. My dog also had one but it was defluffed in a matter of minutes.

I know I left a comment on this post…but it’s not here. Very strange. What I said was, that Edie is one of the cutest puppies ever! I love puppy breath.

OMG, cute! If she likes to chew, protect your shoes! Although my puppy, who is actually not so much puppy now that she turned one, like to chew my MacBook too. I tell her, “nothing makes mommie more pissy than when you touch my computer” and she has actually gotten the meaning of this!

Oh goodness, I learned the hard way… stop her chewing on things except her puppy toys now! When my Wallypup was little, we thought his constant chewing was cute, and now he’s 33kgs of Labrador and he chews everything! Including electric cords in cars he can get under. And hands. And rocks..(?). It’s a really hard habit to break if it’s not done early!
