It’s Monday.

I think I am getting sick. I’m stuffy and my head is achey. I cannot wait until the second week of March, when this stupid CNA class is over. I need a break from this ridiculous schedule. This week starts our clinicals which will take place in a nursing home. I have to be honest, I’m really not looking forward to cleaning up after and taking care of the elderly. I know that sounds mean, but I’m just not thrilled on it.

I’m going to go to the doctor for my physical, grab some Subway and then go to the doctor again for my follow up TB shot.

Rumor has it the strike might be over. Grey’s Anatomy might have new episodes in the beginning of March.

If these rumors are true, what can’t you wait for to come back on?

The Office! For sure. I like Ugly Betty, too. Hell, I even get into GA, and DH, also.

I totally understand the sentiment about the nursing home. I will never work in one – this girl’s hospital bound (L&D? Neonatal? Neuro? Who knows!) But clinicals go by quickly =) Good luck!

And I cannot wait for 24, Grey’s, Gossip Girl.

Technically, it’s the last season of Scrubs. And I NEED to know if JD and Eliot end up together. For serious.

I’m ready for Grey’s to be back, of course, but I’m also really looking forward to new episodes of The Office.

I heard that rumor too and oh god it HAS TO BE TRUE. It just has to.

Oy, I’m not feeling well either. Bottle of wine last night is not helping matters. I just want more and more new episodes of Lost.

I watch a lot of downloaded tv shows. (I don’t own a tv).

How I met your mother, and gossip girl

I would be happy just to have Grey’s and Gossip Girl. But honestly I would probably consider watching anything new at this point.

Is anyone going to watch the premiere or Lipstick Jungle this week? I can’t tell if it looks alright or god awful…

You don’t even want my list. it’s way too long.

I am DYING for Gossip Girl to come back. When I started watching there was no way I thought that would be my far and away favorite show, but oh how I miss Blair and Chuck!

Lord, I do hope that isnt a rumor. I would be DEVASTATED if it were and they were getting my hopes up. I miss Greys Anatomy like its a member of my family.

Being the dork loser that I am, I started watching that CBS sitcom “The Big Bang Theory”. I was so annoyed when they went to repeats barely 5 shows into the season for crying out loud. I’m hoping that the show regains its momentum so I don’t have to be a fan of yet-another canceled show!

way too many shows:) let’s hope they hammer out this deal this week.

I think it’s pretty close to being over, but I still saw some picketers on my way to work this morning.

I still havent finished watching the previous seasons on DVD. So the strike did absolutely nothing for me!

The only show I’ve really missed is Grey’s. The strike was sort of a non-issue for me. Oh, but I did miss The Daily Show.

HOUSE! Please more House!

If I watched TV, I’d probably be excited about it.

I guess, I’m really looking forward to seeing the rest of Scrubs season 7. It’s really been the only show I’ve kept up with since I came to college.

The Office and 30 Rock need to come back very, very soon.

THE OFFICE. I WILL DIE OF HAPPINESS!!!!!!!!!!!

OH nursing homes! Alas, it’s been almost 4 years since I stepped foot into one so what can I remember for your sake… Well, the nurses there may be a bit cranky, but after spending ONE shift there you will understand. Take it in stride and remember: you NEVER want to work there.

The patients LIVE for meal times. It’s the best time of their day – it breaks up the drudgery, they get to socialize, AND they get out of their rooms. If you screw with mealtimes, sometimes anger follows.

A lot of patients or residents, depending on where you are, enjoy having company. You may be the only visitor they get all week. AND with the shortage, this may be the only time they get the care they deserve – which could involve AM care, peri care, or just someone to sit and talk to. Communication and the human side of health care IS nursing; we provide that human touch and connection – and that’s why we’re so special.

You get used to nakedness.

Don’t let the environment get you down; some places are downright miserable. Bring in some sunshine and the residents and staff will truly appreciate it.

OK; I have to go now because I’m on days and have precious little time to sleep. ENJOY and let me know how it goes!!

I’m gonna be so pissed if you just got my hopes up for nothing…

We were watching Prison Break, LOST, and 24 before the strike, and for now we have lost back. I soo hope the strike is almost over.

REALLY?! Grey’s will have new episodes? Does this mean the season will be MUCH shorter and end in May anyway? Ugh…keep us posted!
