I forgot to bring my camera, otherwise there would be a big picture of the madness that is my city right now. I walked out to my driveway to find my Blazer covered in about 6 inches of snow. Then I had to shovel out part of my driveway because my car wouldn’t budge since the snow was so high. After an excruciating drive up Lake Shore Drive, I got to work and got stuck trying to pull in to the alley to park in the family’s garage. Then I worked my way out and wedged myself into a spot on the street, which will no doubt result in my having to dig myself out again at 7:00PM.
Now if I did not have to work, I wouldn’t mind it so much. I’d probably try to convince boyfriend to go play outside and romp in the snow with me.
Stupid work. Ruining my snow day plans!
Did you guys get any snow today? If it doesn’t snow where you live, can I come visit to get away from the cold?!

Oooh we haven’t gotten any snow yet, but I hear it’s on the way! Isn’t it weird how snow takes on a whole new meaning now that we’re older? There is basically no chance for a snow day, so instead of being pretty and fun, snow just makes driving and getting to work a huge hassle. I used to LOVE it when it snowed! I don’t want it to turn into something that just makes life difficult!!

You could totally come visit, but unfortunately it’s still cold in NYC… not snowing, but pouring rain! And guess who got caught without an umbrella this morning

It’s still snowing here. We get what Chicago gets and then some (terrible lake effect region)… but that still doesn’t mean they’re going to close our school. Ohhh no, St. Mary’s hasn’t closed since the 70s.

Luckily, the snow isn’t going anywhere. You can romp and frolic all weekend!

Yep, still snowy here. The drifts behind the cars in our teeny parking lot are huge–no one can get out. I need a vacation like crazy.

Sure, if you like rain. But I have a spare bed and Dance Dance, so it’s all good.

Virginia – Seriously. It i just a total hassle now. DO NOT WANT.
Valerie – 50 degrees sounds so nice right now!
Miriam – I would kill for 63 degrees!
Trace – I always manage to never bring an umbrella when it rains. It’s a curse.
Tiff – Seriously! Go away snow.
d – I’d like it more if I didn’t have to drive anywhere.
Blonde Features – Me too. I had the worst time getting out of bed, I was dreading the weather.
Penelope – Really. Never again.
Renee – I can’t believe they are staying open. That is such nonsense!
Angela – As long as it doesn’t turn to black mush, I’ll be happy.
Gretchen – I’m so gonna be stuck when I leave. I’m not looking forward to that!
TES – Thanks for stopping by!
Stephanie – Lucky!
Deutlich – Girl, you can have all of it. I do not want it at all! We are expecting like 10 to 12 inches total.

Snow is always exponentially more fun when you don’t have to do anything productive in it!

I woke up at half six this morning and there was snow on the ground. How I rejoiced! Fell back asleep and when I woke up at eleven (I know, I’m a lazy be-atch!), it had gone. How pants.
