Why is it that when you are really looking forward to sleeping, you can never do it? I’ve had a hellish schedule this week. Up at a ridiculous early hour, at school until almost 10PM 3 days a week. I’m tired. I was looking forward to this weekend so much because 3 blissful days of sleeping late! Not having to wake up at 6AM!
What happens?
Yesterday, slept until 9. I got like 6 hours of sleep. Today slept until 9 too, got about 5 hours of sleep. 5-6 hours of sleep does not work for me. I need my sleep or I’m cranky and tired and not too fun. It’s like an unwritten rule this weekend, that everyone must be loud as they possibly can, as early as they possibly can in my house this weekend.
I have one more day to get it right and I am not above shanking someone to get a good night’s sleep.

Ugh, I’m the same way. I need a solid 7 hours of sleep every night, or I’m a cranky biotch and everyone had better stay out of my way. Hope you can get more sleep tonight! And don’t underestimate the power of naps if you have time!

It’s like on Thanksgiving when you don’t eat all day and when you can finally eat you’re full after 2 bites. It’s a cruel world.

Oh, like when the dog craps in the house at 430am and it smells so bad it wakes you out of a dead sleep? Or when you finally settle in for the resulting nap that WH thinks you laid back down after he did and tries to wake you? Or when you got your four nap and he finally does wake you, lest you sleep too long (what is that?!) and not be able to sleep tonight?
Shank ‘em.

I never get to sleep until 9
Even if I have nothing going on. It’s like my body just doesn’t care and wakes up whenever the hell it wants. I try to force myself to stay up late in hopes I’ll sleep past 9…but noooooooope! Stupid body.
Hope you catch up on sleep soon!

Jenn – 9 would totally be great if I went to bed at a normal hour haha. Going to sleep at 4:AM and waking up at 9 is wrong on so many levels!
My body hates me as well obviously!

Even if I go to bed really late I wake up pretty much on the dot of 9 no matter what. Internal alarm clocks suck.
I’m sorry you didn’t get enough sleep. Maybe time for a nap?

It never fails. I have been dying to get some sleep as well and I got up at 7am today. I don’t even do that during a work week. I hope you get your proper rest tonight. Kick some ass if you have to!

you know, i never sleep when I need to, and right when I need to be awake… that’s when the fatigue really hits me. It always seems to work that way. I still havent gotten to a human sleeping pattern yet. I’m hopging that i’ll be able to do that soon or it’s gonna be a looooooooooong semester.

I know all about sleeping deprivation. Especially while in class. It sucks. I feel like I’m always running on empty! The good thing is that at some point there WILL be a light at the end of the tunnel for us. Someday, right?
Good luck on the Blogger awards! :]

Oh how I feel your sleep pain! I love, love, love sleep! However, I am 7 months pregnant and sleeping with a basketbal and having a little one kicking your ribs, is just not what I call a good nights sleep. Here is to sleeping like a baby!
