this is my last day of freedom

Well, for two months at least. Tomorrow I start school and the schedule of hell. I’m really not looking forward to the super long days, but I will suck it up and do it. Most likely whine about it too, but I’m sure that goes without saying.

Here’s my weekly schedule:

Monday
8:10-9:50 Math
11:00-12:15 Psychology
3:30-9:50 Nurse Assistant training class

Tuesday
8:00-7:00 work

Wednesday
8:10-9:50 Math
11:00-12:15 Psychology
3:30-9:50 Nurse Assistant Training

Thursday
3:30-9:50 Nurse Assistant Training

Friday
8:00-7:00 work (I won’t always work until 7 Fridays)

One good thing is my Nursing class is only an 8 week course, so after those two months my schedule gets a little lighter!

So tomorrow I will pack up my cute tote bag with all my notebooks and binders and go to school. I will most likely bring my laptop because, good lord, did you see that break I have between Psych and Nursing? You all better think of me around 7:00 and realize I’ve been in class for 3 1/2 hours and still have almost 3 to go and hope I’m not falling asleep or something equally embarrassing on my first day.

Shoot, I’m already whining about working ’til 5 on Fridays! You’re allowed to, and encouraged to, whine about your schedule! Some of my best friends are nursing majors.. I don’t know how you guys do it. Impressive.

Oh, wow! That class schedule is ridiculous. I’m sure you can handle it though (better than me, that’s for sure).

Good luck w/school!!

I have to give you so much credit for going to be a nurse… my mom is one, and I know I couldn’t handle it. And you know what, I graduated in May, but I really do miss school. Have a good semester!

This is actually my first class toward a nursing major. It’s going to be tough but I think it will all work out.

Good luck with it!

I used to hate those big breaks between classes. Now I miss school, crazy schedule and all. Good luck with this semester, you’ll do great!

PSYCHOLOGY is awesome! Sorry, I’m biased, but I love psych classes. They aren’t even “real” classes to me. I’d go there even if i wasn’t getting a grade.

I’m a nerd, huh?

That nursing is quite a big chunk of your time, but at least it’s only eight weeks I did a psych degree, so I loved all those classes, I’m sure you will too!

Just ‘reading’ the word MATH hurts my teeth.

My last day of freedom too! Good luck!

Ahhh good luck! One thing I am NOT going to miss is sitting in class until 10:00 p.m. And my classes were only 4 hours long…so I can’t even imagine how you feel.

Math scares me.

Wow! That is quite the schedule! Good Luck!

Good luck with that schedule! I hope you don’t get burned out. Remember to take plenty of zen moments throughout the day. :o )

I can’t wait to go back to school, but I am not looking forward to the stress.

Good luck! I start grad school next week and I will be off with my bag full of new notebooks and pens too. Exciting!

I’m a dork who misses school now that I’m done but I’m sure if I was going back tomorrow I would be complaining about it. Good luck on your first day back. I hope you have a wonderful day!

[Reply]

Aww good luck. That schedule looks just as bad as mine.

I kind of miss that feeling of organizing all of my binders and buying books and starting a new semester fresh with all of my great intentions of keeping up with my reading and finishing papers early. The first week of class was always my favorite!

Good luck with your classes :)

I don’t envy you. Teehee! I am so glad I’m done with school (at least for now). ;-)

Good idea on bringing the laptop. Do they have wifi you can use on campus? That would be the best of both worlds!

[Reply]

Oh man that looks intense. Good luck, good luck, good luck!
