M.I.A.

Last night the boy and I went to go see M.I.A. We get there and in big letters we see SOLD OUT. It was probably my fault, because I didn’t get out of the house until 7:30 for the 8:00 show. It was such a bummer, because M.I.A. was actually headlining this time and the last few times we have seen her it has been with other acts. We really didn’t think it would sell out either. If you remember, a few weeks ago, I posted up an M.I.A. song or maybe no one was reading then. Since I missed out last night, everyone gets music today!

I don’t have the older album Arular on my computer. Maybe when William wakes up he will send me some songs from it. Here are a few more tracks off of Kala and one from Timbaland’s album Shock Value that features M.I.A.

It’s a really different, awesome and unique sound, if you never heard of M.I.A. Seriously, give it a chance. I promise you will like it!

I loved her new CD but I kinda fell out of touch…went MIA if you will sheesh that was bad, and I have no excuse.

A friend and I tried to get tickets for the House of Blues show and the Vic and they were both sold out like a week in advance. So bummed! I’ve only seen MIA once and that was ages ago.

I’m seeing M.I.A. in Baltimore tomorrow night. It sold out this morning. She’s playing Taxlo, so that’ll be tons of fun. Lots of other DJs and no one there will be afraid to dance. How do you go to an M.I.A. show and not dance?! c’mon!
